    பெருமையை சிறுமை செய்

    நன்மையை வளர செய்

    சொற்களால் இனிமை செய்

    மனம்திறந்த புண்ணகை செய் 

    நேர்மையை வலிமை செய் 

உன் எண்ணம் உயர்ந்திருந்தால், 

    நீயும் உயர்ந்திருப்பை மற்றவர் மதியில்

எங்கே பசுமை

வேண்டும் மழை எங்கே 

மயக்கும் மண்வாசம் எங்கே 

பரவச தென்றல் எங்கே

பறக்கும் பறவை எங்கே

பச்சை இழைகள் எங்கே

பசியின் மருந்து எங்கே 

எங்கே என்ற தேடல் வேண்டும்

இல்லையில் 

வாழ்வின் பண்பு மாறும்

அன்பகன்று அடிமை வளரும்

எல்லாம் தேடலாகும் நம்மினத்தையும் சேர்த்து!!

சிந்தனை வளர்ப்போம் 

Kundrathur Mountain

One fine saturday myself and my son went to Kundrathur mountain. Kundrathur Murugan Temple is famous in the locality. My son wanted me to take him to any mountain. I thought let the kundrathur be the first one. Its very short mountain probably around 100 ft from ground level.

The view was very beautiful. We used to do some trekking in USA. Since this one was after a long time it really was good experience. Its gives different perception to life than what you see at the ground level. I missed all such places in my childhood. But nonetheless, will get to live them with my sons.

Its really a worth going for a short walk on this mountain.

Its really good to sit back, relax and think about future.

Moved back to Chennai for good. Chennai sweet home welcomed us with love and care. One week of jet lag, one week of settling down and now we are typical chennai people.

I am glad that my son had adopted to Chennai very smoothly (thank you god).. He is having fun with his grand parents, uncles and aunts.. Yet to join school, still he is having fun @ home.

Chennai has not changed, people are trying hard to change it. I still see the influence of Autos, Roadside shops, Tea stall chats, heavy traffic, etc.. But it has changed on few aspects like inflation, apartments, branding..

Missing my new friends in US and will get together more with old friends.. Might miss comfortable USA than happy India..

+/- home is always the best place in earth and I am happy to be back.

பத்து நாட்களில் தொப்பை குறைய எளிய வழி!

தொப்பைஇரவில் அன்னாசிப் பழத்தைச் சிறுதுண்டுகளாக நறுக்கி நான்கு தேக்கரண்டி ஓமத்தைப் பொடி செய்து அதில் போட்டு நன்றாகக் கிளற வேண்டும். பிறகு ஒரு டம்ளர் தண்ணீர் ஊற்றி அடுப்பில் கொதிக்க விட வேண்டும் . பிறகு அதை இறுக்கி மூடி வைக்கவும்.

மறுநாள் காலையில் அதை நன்கு பிழிந்து சக்கையை நீக்கி விட்டு சாறை வெறும் வயிற்றில் குடிக்க வேண்டும் தொடர்ந்து பத்து நாட்கள் இது போல் அன்னாசிப் பழத்தைத் தாயாரித்து குடித்து வந்தால் தொப்பை குறைந்து விடும்.

அருகம்புல் சாறெடுத்து தினமும் காலையில் வெறும் வயிற்றில் குடித்து வர தொப்பை குறையும்.

பாதாம் பவுடரை எடுத்து சிறிது தேன் கலந்து காலையில் சாப்பாட்டிற்கு பிறகு சாப்பிட்டு வந்தால் தொப்பை குறையும்.

கேரட்டுடன் தேன் சேர்த்து சாப்பிட்டு வந்தால் தேவையற்ற கொழுப்பு குறைந்து உடல் எடை குறையும்.

நெல்லிக்காயை கொட்டை நீக்கி சுத்தம் செய்து, சாறு எடுத்து அதனுடன் சிறிது இஞ்சிச்சாறு கலந்து தினமும் காலையில் குடித்து வந்தால் கொழுப்பு குறையும்

வாலி என்ற சிறுவன் சின்ன கற்கண்டு என்கிற கிராமத்தில் அவன் தாத்தா பாட்டியுடன் வசித்துவந்தன்.. படிப்பில் ஆர்வம் அதிகம் நம்மாபயலுக்கு..

ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு கணக்கு வாத்தியார் ஆண்டியப்பன் பெரும் கோவக்காரர்.. எல்லா மாணவர்களும் பொறுப்புடனும் நேர்மையுடனும் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதில் பெரும் தீர்மானத்துடன் இருந்தார்..

எல்லா பாடங்களிலும் வாலி கெட்டிக்காரன்.. அணைத்து வாத்தியார்களுக்கும் அவணை பிடிக்கும்.. பொய், பெருமை இல்லாத பய நம்ம வாலி..

அந்த ஆண்டின் இறுதி பரிட்சைகள் முடிந்தப்பின் பசங்க வாத்தியார்களுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவிக்க போனார்கள்.. அப்போ ஆண்டியப்பன் வாத்தியார் பசங்கக்கிட்ட ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்டார்..

பசங்களா நீங்க படுச்சு பெரியா ஆளானப்பிறகு என்ன ஆக போறீங்க??

பசங்க எல்லாம் நான் Doctor, Engineer, Scientist, Astronaut, IAS அப்படின்னு பெரிய லிச்ட் போட்டனுங்க.. ஆனா நம்ம வாலி ஒரு நிமிஷம் மௌனமா இருந்து நான் என்னோட தாத்தா மாதிரி Farmer ஆகபோறேன் என்றான்..

அனைவரும் அசந்துபோனர்கள்.. ஏன்டா கண்ணா விவசாயம் செய்யருது அவ்வளவு பிடிக்குமா உனக்கு என்றார் ஆண்டியப்பன்??

இல்ல ஐயா, நான் வழந்து வரகாலத்துக்கு யாரும் விவசாயம் பண்ண மாட்டாங்க, அப்போ விவசாயம் பண்ணி உற்பத்தி பண்ண நல்ல லாபம் கிடைக்கும் இல்லையா??

life is a gift

Its been long time since it happened.. time to write something down in the memory lane..

Its been that time of the year where you get to relax and look back on what happened and what you have done..

Faaz is keeping me busy and he tirelessly amazing me with his love and activities.. I am gifted for an extend..

Lots are happening in my mind.. I am not sticking to one mindset for a long time.. I am easily distracted from my wish or goal or dream you name it.. its being my greatest weakness.. My Dad used to mention that to me that very often, I never listened.. Now I can realize why I am still doing what I am doing.. I love you Dad for being such a Good Dad..

As always, I will continue to get ideas and hope will implement some thing soon to get a step towards my dream..

New Year - Resolution(s)

It can be viewed as Just another day in our life for those who are perfect and have nothing to change.. But for those who are dreaming this day is like a milestone which they wait for long time and start a new activity called new year resolution.. he he..

I was watching the NY ball drop event on TV, where a model mentioned 
    "I don't have any resolution for this year, because I will forget it in a week.." ;-)

Those who had great resolutions to achieve in 2013.. My hearty wishes.. Hope you don't forget it..

Work towards your dream, one day you will achieve them with pride..
